Coffee round up

It seems that I am a bit addicted to the now….

I feel pretty hooked up since I started taking it to the sine last weekend. I bought some really strong Nescafe granules from Waitrose. It is pretty strong but I found a really good mix to get that kick that you need.

Here is what I do:

  1. I fill a cup with 1 1/2 spoon of coffee
  2. I pour hot water to fill 1/3 of the cup or even 1/4
  3. 1 tea spoon of brown sugar (It seems very strong but hey I am busy so i need a quick fix)
  4. Now I fill the cup with semi-skimmed milk to 2/3 of the cup or 3/4 depending how generous I feel.

It takes around 2-3 min to make and it lasts for hours! Well until I get tired again.

The effects are quite good for the gym goer, like myself (hehe…). It just keeps you going on the treadmill for a long time!

In other news!

I went to play some basketball at the park . I was very rusty at the shots, I couldn’t get any 3 pointers anymore! After 2 years or more of not playing ball I was crap. I couldn’t do much at all. I played my cousin for nearly 2 hours. After 15min in the game I was nearly out of breath. Which seemed not quite right. I go gym 2-3 times minimum a and do around 1-2 hours of . I should be fitter or something. Well i guess that maybe it is because its a different activity or I haven’t played in a long time.

This week was pretty intense at work, the client wanted things done as soon as possible and there was too much work to be done and soo little time that I had to cancel my holiday from Thursday to Monday. Well I only cancelled Thursday and Monday but I did take my Friday off.

On Friday I did at least 2 hours, well it seam like it was 2 hours. After the I decided to try a new meal, which didn’t turn out to be as I just ended up making boring pasta with more veg. I was aiming for a pasta salad or salad pasta….. well anyway I ended up getting brown pasta and tomato + 6-8 different veggies including spinach and broccoli.

Getting back to what I did, after the I went to start a new design for wordpress then gave up. It felt weird. I tried to make my own WordPress theme and gave up. That is not like me. I then tried to pick up again from an old php project and gave up after 1 hour! I mean, I’ve been doing design for more than 5 years now and it seems so hard to start again from more than 5months of nothing. It just felt that I gave up.

It seems that I may not go back fully any time soon. I think its good though as I am more outgoing and no more looking creepy sitting behind the screen for days. It makes me think that there is more to than what I use to do. Web designing, making money online its just a dream that I’ve tried (not hard enough) and never got there. I just didn’t have the time or the money to invest. I found that I could gain the same money in less time in doing actual work at a desk.

My workout

Getting back to the point, I went to the gym on Monday and Friday. I am going to head to the gym on Sunday as well to get a good workou until Tuesday next week. I am planning a Full total body workout.

This will include

  • 40min run
  • 7 Interval training on the rowers
  • maybe a 15min on the bike
  • 3 sets on the low row
  • 3 sets on the shoulder press
  • 3 sets on the incline press
  • 3 sets of 12 on the lunges + curls
  • 3 sets on the quad
  • 3 sets crunches + side
  • 3 sets of leg raise

I think that will do it for Sunday

After the workout I will post my measurements from Last year November time and today and see if there is any big difference!
