While revising I stumbled on this amazing stop motion video by Oren Lavie.
Today I have done quite a bit of revision. I woke up early (7:30am) which was really easy as I had a good night sleep. During the day I was able to complete most of my revision for one of the modules I am doing at Uni (construction and the Environment).
I also was able to manage my revision to be able to include some reading of some chapters for my other module, project appraisal. I am pretty proud of myself because for once in my life I have been able to manage my studies with this high pressure and stress of the exams coming up.
Tonight’s aim is to finish another lecture note for construction and the environment, and then to organise my plan for tomorrow’s revision. For my project appraisal as I have a lot of calculation to do I have to start practicing them starting from tonight if possible. But I will be incorporating them throughout the day tomorrow and Wednesday so that by Thursday I can go see my lecturer and ask her some questions if needed. For the project appraisal I probably have 3-4 chapters to cover but I still need to create some mind map for them.
As we are on this topic of mind map, I found this nice and quick guideline on using a mindmap to revise. But I did know of this technique from this book on “How to pass Exams” by Dominic O’Brien, it’s a really good book on memory and how to use your brain to store and recall information easily. I would recommend this book everytime! I’ve had it since 2007 and it helped me a lot!
Well anywho… I think it makes me feel good blogging on a regular basis as it keeps my mind in check on what I am suppose to do as keeping them in my mind really gets to me. So writing them down is a really good option atm.
Oh btw I have installed a new theme on this blog, and I love it!!
